About us

Our History

According to the Sunnyside SDA Church Dedication booklet, the church met for the first time on Sabbath 04 May 1996 on the verandah of South Malawi Field offices, with a congregation of 120 people. These comprised of mainly members of Soche SDA and Sunnyside Jesus’ Way. The latter was formed after two evangelistic campaigns in the mid-1980s by Pastors Harry Cartwright and Randy Stafford at Kwacha Conference Centre and BAT ground respectively, which also resulted in congestion of Soche SDA Church. The Church was built with the vision of accommodating 500 members. The Church was dedicated on 29 November 2008.
